Learn about the Lattice Pore Size block. It’s a new tool that helps you measure pore sizes in lattice structures, primarily used in spinal implants. Iterate multiple lattice structures quickly with the power of implicits and find the optimum porosity for good osseointegration, to avoid pore occlusion, and to provide enough surface area for cell adhesion.
In this video, Yuki Okada, Technical Marketing Engineer at nTop, shows you how to use the tool to measure pore diameters. He also shows you some interactive features that let you visualize pore sizes.
Watch and learn how to:
- Calculate the pore diameter of any graph lattice.
- Visualize the distribution of pore sizes using scalar point map and surface plot.
- Isolate specific pore sizes done through surface plot or table of points.
