nTop partnered with Penn State University and Flow3D to develop a unique and novel workflow that designs a 3D printed sand mold. The team demonstrated the ability using advanced mold design concepts and casting simulation to produce a unique casting that could only be manufactured using 3D printed sand molds.
This presentation will show the process and benefits of using the latest design and simulation software coupled with 3D printing hardware that produces a complex casting within a complete design process.
